By working directly with landlords and tenants, the Buncombe Rental Assistance Collaborative has placed nearly 300 adults and children in safe and secure households.

The damage from Hurricane Helene made our local affordable housing crisis far worse, especially for low-income families and other vulnerable neighbors.
Thrive has worked to reduce barriers to housing with our partners in the Buncombe Rental Assistance Collaborative (BRAC): City of Asheville Housing Authority, Homeward Bound, Helpmate, and HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing. This work is supported by the Land of the Sky Association of Realtors.
